ScriptExpert v0.1.99 – Update Issue Resolved and Full Changelog

By likegeo 0 replies 23 views 0 score

Hello everyone,

We identified and resolved an update-channel issue affecting some ScriptExpert v0.1.98 users.

Who was affected?

The issue could occur when a user:

  • Initially installed the Free Trial edition;
  • Later purchased and activated a Pro license;
  • Attempted to update the application to the latest Pro version.

Although the Pro license was valid and activated correctly, the installed application still identified its original package as Free Trial. This could cause the update check to display:

“This license is not valid for this update channel.”

The issue has now been resolved on our update server.

What do you need to do?

No license replacement, new purchase or application reinstallation is required.

Simply open ScriptExpert and check for updates again. Your existing Pro license will be recognized, and ScriptExpert will download the correct Pro update for your operating system.

Please do not share your purchase code or license key publicly if you require assistance.
